Tai was born and raised in Japan. In 2020, he has visited Mmiyako-jima for the first time and fallen in love with the island. Before visiting Miyako-jima, he has lived in Canada, Hawaii, Florida and California. He has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Event Management from the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Also, he has more than seven years of experience in the hospitality industry, and he currently works in Miyako-jima as a tour guide.
